Design and implementation of a metaverse platform for traditional culture: the chime bells of Marquis Yi of Zeng

Abstract Metaverse platforms have become increasingly prevalent for collaboration in virtual environments. platforms, as opposed to reality, augmented and mixed expand with enhanced social meanings within worlds. The research object this study is the chime bells of Marquis Yi Zeng, one China's most treasured cultural heritage sites. We aimed create a metaverse platform Zeng provide visitors highly immersive interactive experience. First, we collected materials data other exhibits, well historical information. Then, were processed integrated 3D model reconstruction. In addition, designed roaming system through which could interact exhibits obtain multimedia information even knock ring bells. Finally, built our connect multiple different geographic locations encourage them collaborate communicate space. This helps users visualize heritage, simulates real-life tour experiences intuitive manners interaction, motivates visitors’ interest traditional culture. also reveals potential use metaverse-related techniques sectors.
